Here it is. The typical “about me” page. If only I knew who I am already. I know parts of me – but the whole me is still developing, growing and coming to light every day.
I have been writing my thoughts in this space for years now, on and off. I started this when I was a kid myself and now, I am mother of five kids. How that happened so fast I’ll spend forever trying to understand. It started as a creative writing outlet, a space for me to write stories about how I see the world. It still is in a way, but over the years my children have leaped onto the pages and given me a knew lens to see through, weaving their own colorful threads into our life story.
The best thing I ever did was marrying my best friend. We were just kids back then, but we were able to grow together, both as individuals and life companions. We still are, as we guide our kids through life the best we know how. We started in Iceland, spent two years in California, then moved back home only to find ourselves in Norway two years later, where we lived for five years, before heading back to home base in Iceland. During this globetrotting we had our kids and got educational degrees and learned about life.
Life happens – and coffee helps. It all begins after that first cup of coffee in the morning and that’s when the good stories start.
